How to Make Quick Kefir Pastries with Egg and Green Onion
- Preparing the filling. First, prepare the filling for the pastries. Boil the eggs until ready (about 10 minutes after boiling), then cool them and cut into small pieces. Also finely chop the green onions. Mix the eggs and onions in one bowl.
- Preparing the dough. In a large bowl, mix the kefir, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the flour, constantly stirring to prevent lumps. You should get a soft but not sticky dough.
- Forming the pastries. Divide the dough into equal parts. Roll each piece into a small circle about 1 cm thick. Put a little filling in the middle of each circle, then fold the dough in half and pinch the edges well.
- Frying the pastries. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the pastries on both sides until golden brown.
- Serving. Serve the pastries hot. They are perfect for breakfast or dinner, as well as a snack.
