How to Make Sandwiches with Cod Liver and Cottage Cheese

  1. Preparation of ingredients. First, prepare all the necessary ingredients. Peel and finely chop the onion. Also, cut the bread into pieces suitable for sandwiches.
  2. Preparation of cod liver. You can buy ready-made cod liver or prepare it yourself. If you choose the second option, the cod liver should be thoroughly washed, then put in a saucepan, covered with water so that it completely covers the liver, and simmered for about 20 minutes. After that, the cod liver should be cooled and ground in a blender to a paste-like state.
  3. Preparation of the sandwich mixture. Put the cod liver in a bowl, add cottage cheese, finely chopped onion, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
