Try a delicious homemade dish - apricot dumplings. This recipe is easy to prepare and is sure to delight you and your loved ones.


For the dough:

  • Flour - 500 g, 
  • Water - 200 ml, 
  • Salt - 1 tsp, 
  • Egg - 1 pc

For the filling:

  • Apricots - 500 g, 
  • Sugar - 100 g (or to taste)

For serving:

  • Butter - to taste, 
  • Powdered sugar - to taste

How to Make Apricot Dumplings

  1. Preparing the dough: Pour the flour into a large bowl, add salt. Make a well in the middle, pour water into it and break an egg. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic. Cover the bowl with the dough with cling film and leave it for 30 minutes to rest.
  2. Preparing the filling: Wash the apricots, cut them in half and remove the pits. Cut the apricots into small pieces and mix with sugar.
  3. Forming the dumplings: Divide the dough into small parts. Roll each piece into a thin circle. Put the apricot filling in the middle of each circle. Close the dough, forming a dumpling, and pinch the edges well.
  4. Cooking the dumplings: In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Salt the water and carefully put the dumplings in. Boil them until they float to the surface, then another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serving: Drain the dumplings and put them on a plate. Add butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
